 GIB was founded in Berlin in The consultancy activities of GIB in the area of innovation and industrial research are based on close co-operation of GIB academic director Prof. Dr. H.-J. Ewers (actual President of the Technical University in Berlin) and managing director Dr. C. Becker and have been expanded with a technology- engineering branch.  The association has long experience of consultancy in the areas of empirical technology and innovation research, in (regional) economic aiding (promotion), in labour market and in economic development policy. GIB’s team of consultants is interdisciplinary.
