Telehealth: A New Frontier The healthcare landscape is changing at unprecedented rates. Shifts in payment mechanisms, increased consumer engagement and emerging technologies are forcing healthcare providers and payers to consider innovative methods of care delivery. Telehealth is gaining recognition as not only an efficient solution, but an effective one as well. Using secure two way communications and high definition audio and video is becoming the strategic game changer that it has promised to be. How will providers and payers leverage telehealth solutions? What will the healthcare landscape look like when telehealth becomes as ubiquitous as the stethoscope in the provision of healthcare?
