.25 Mile Buffer Zones represent possible service areas. Dots in the right map are representative of total units available in those federal projects. Graduated Dot Map Showing Total Units HUD Data is disaggregated

The bottom map shows a graduated dot map of census tracts centered on Northeast Los Angeles with more than 25 people reported for the section 8 voucher program and LifeSTEPS sites. The.25 mile buffer zones for all other HUD projects enumerated are still visible in light blue. These zones mark potential service areas where services can be pooled and provided to residents. The light green color fills in those census tracts included in the Section 8 voucher program projection. LifeSTEPS is an organization that provides on-site services to existing family and senior housing where residents and developers receive various types of federal subsidy. After geocoding addresses and total unit information for those sites within Northeast Los Angeles, the sites, in pink, could be displayed. Attribute sub-selection: [number_reported] > 25

% Below Poverty is for census tracts Number reported, rather than total units, is used for the voucher program.
