Today fourth and fifth grade students can come and check out Tone Chimes. Tone chimes takes place during fourth and fifth grade PE. Even if you've never played a chime, come and try it! Here’s the news you need to know:

Returning members of the middle-school yearbook staff will meet Monday, September 28, after school in Room 420. This meeting is for returning members only. If you are interested in joining the yearbook staff this year, please complete the online application found on our school web site at the bottom of the "Resources on pages 6-8".

Annual Harvest Dance for middle school students is coming! The dance will take place Friday, October 2 from 6:00-8:00 in the cafeteria.

Dance tickets will be sold Monday-Thursday during each lunch in the cafeteria. Tickets are $5.00 for the dance. Make plans to attend! It won’t be totally fun without you!

10SNEI Tennis Match Play is back! All Students inany grade level 2 - 8, that are interested and able to play tennis, keep a rally going, and score a game, are invited to sign up weekly for matches. The matches will take place after school on Mondays. Please bring the following items: water, a snack, a visor or hat, sunblock, a towel, and wear shorts or tennis attire with pockets and tennis shoes.

Sign up sheets will be in the cafeteria on Thursday and Friday of each week. The maximum amount of students we can take is 12 and it will be on a first come first serve basis. Middle school students hope you are planning on staying after school today for the Shamrock Club. exercising and meeting new friends. It doesn’t get any better than that! Get ready to compete in the 8K Middle School Challenge.

The Reflections art program is now accepting entries in the following 6 categories: Visual arts (drawing, painting, 3d art) Photography Film Production Dance Musical Composition Literature The judges can’t wait to see what you create.

Reflections art entries are due October 16 th. There are drop boxes in the art rooms right now. So “Let your Imagination fly”. Get started on your original work for reflections!

The informational meeting for Iceland 2016 summer trip is this afternoon at 4:30 in room 313. Middle school parents and students interested in the trip should attend. Please see Mrs. Weyrauch or Ms. Young if you have questions or cannot make the meeting.

The first SCA General Assembly meeting for all middle school officers and FOCUS representatives will be held after-school Today in the cafeteria.
