Planning Your Description My Teaching Setting Age From Elementary to middle school students How many? students How often? 40-50mins Each class / 5days every week Subjects Reading (maybe,4parts) Resources used Reading train, Reading rocket, Reading planet (series) or English newspaper Resources I’d like Some sites for reading materials like eEBS, Tenstory Learner’s background They have many curiosities and need to study for their Reading abilities External factors Translations, writing letters for reports of students’ improvement, counseling with parents and students about their studying

Your Preferred Teaching Setting Your setting will be 3-4 paragraphs long ◆ In the first paragraph you can introduce: ◆ General information about the school ◆ General information about the students and your classes ◆ In the second paragraph you can introduce: ◆ Duties you have at the school ◆ What subjects you cover and materials that you use ◆ In the third paragraph you can introduce: ◆ What you would change about the school ◆ What you would change about the material ◆ Why? ◆ I will teach students to express their sentences and opinions, despite one word and one sentence. Because they feel bored about the previous English class. Also, students can’t show their speaking abilities fluently, though they put efforts on learning English, due to not balanced learning.

My English Teaching Settings I’ve taught the students from elementary to middle school students in English academy. The academy consisted of the classes where teachers should teach reading passages, vocabularies and grammar rules. The students had many curiosities about various topics and issues but, they felt boredom and difficulty in their classes easily. Also, they and their parents wanted to have the ability to read passages fast and get good points in tests. I had to teach students how to read fast and effectively and assist them to memorize words and grammar rules and do homework. I used to teach grammar rules and reading skills to help students read materials well. When I taught them, I used the reading book series (Reading Train/ Rocket/ Planet) sometimes, reading sites like Tenstory, EBSe to get reading materials like the articles for kids. Students was so busy memorizing vocabularies, grammar rules, expressions, and even sentences. They also got homework a lot to answer the questions of books. So There were not almost students who enjoy learning English in the class. They studied English so hard but, they didn’t speak English fluently and make sentences well. They looked like to have no confidence in English speaking and writing. But, after this TESOL program, I will teach students to express their opinions freely and fluently. They looked like to feel bored in their previous English classes. Also, students can’t show their speaking abilities well, though they have poured efforts into learning English. As the person who has similar experiences, I really want to help them. I will apply many skills and tools which I learned in this program. I will tried to stimulate students’ schema through appropriate questions and materials and raise the ability to think about topic freely and creatively. Also, I will give them fun and useful tasks for linguistic features to be learned, so they realize the features by themselves through the tasks. Ultimately, I will raise their English fluency through these ways.
