SMART Boards  Classrooms have evolved since the chalkboard days where chalkboards were one of the main tools for teaching.  SMART Boards are interactive boards that are used today in many learning environments.  They provide teachers with a variety of tools to create a learning environment for kids that is both fun and efficient.  The cost of a SMART Board varies from how large the board is and how many features it includes, just like many electronics. The price range is from $500 to $7000.

SMART Board Features You can say that a SMART Board is just a whiteboard but it is much more than that. It is an interactive board that comes with many features that make teaching easier for teachers.  It projects that is on your computer, it allows you to compile notes and save them for a specific class.  Students are also able to interact with the lesson and become hands on in a very easy way since it is a touchscreen.  You also are able to access multimedia to help students get engaged. PowerPoint How is PowerPoint usable in the classroom?  The text is almost always easier to understand than hand writing  The size of projections are capable of adjusting to the size of a classroom, providing viewing for the entire class, from front to back  Slides may be made available to the students to allow for them to follow along
