LINE CREATES AN ILLUSION OR IMAGE THAT FOOLS THE EYE. DIRECTS ATTENTION TO SOME FEATURES AND AWAY FROM OTHERS.

Line Vertical lines lead the eye up and down. Horizontal lines lead the eye from side to side.

Texture Texture is the way the surface of a fabric looks or feels. Words that describe texture are bulky, fuzzy, dull, rough, scratchy, smooth, soft, shiny.

Texture Thick, bulky fabrics add the appearance of weight. Shiny textures reflect light and add visual weight.

Texture Dull textures absorb light and decrease visual weight.

Form Form refers to the shape/outline of an object. The shape can distract from or draw attention to an area.

Color Color is used to create moods and evoke emotions. How do certain colors make you feel?
