And its environment

The Jaguars Community consist of Chimpanzees, Red Eyed Tree Frog, Iguanas, Banana Trees, Python, Monkeys, Parrots, The Rhinocerous Beetle, Morpho Butterfly, Tree Snail, Sloth, Macaw, Spider Monkey, Boa Constrictor, Toucan, Alligator, Apes, Cockatoo, Coypu, Chilamy, Dosaurus, Basilisk, Cassowary, Fossa, Tarsier.

There are between 8,000 and 16,000 wild Jaguars left, in less than two-thirds of their original territory.

The average temperature of a rain forest is about 77° Fahrenheit. People affect the jaguars population by hunting them.

The Jaguars habitat is in the rainforest.

A Jaguar's spotted skin color is a good source of camouflage. Their sharp teeth and claws help catch prey. They have long tails to help them balance when running, making sharp turns, and climbing. Jaguars also have rough padded paws to help add traction when running and climbing.

Since the Jaguar is at the top of the food web If it becomes extinct it would cause the extinction of other animals and plants. The Red Eyed Tree Frog and the Vampire Bats would over populate and start killing more of the insects because insects are the only thing they eat. If all the insects are over eaten and become extinct, then the Vampire Bats, Iguanas and the Red Eyed Tree Frogs would also become extinct. This is why the Jaguar is a very important member in this ecosystem.

We can help save the Jaguars by supporting corporations like JAGCT that captures and gets information about them to help protect them.
