Career Choice For my project, I researched teaching. I chose this career because I have always wanted to be a high school teacher where I can help students learn new things.

What are the tasks/duties of this position? Create rules and maintain behavior within your classroom. Teach students using lectures, discussions, and demonstrations Change lessons to meet student needs. Create lessons and prepare materials Create, grade, and record assignments and assessments.

What skills are necessary? Ability to teach others how to do something and talk to others to give information. Active listener Good judgment and decision-making skills Ability to multi-task
