The good news is that Lottery funding has been obtained to help pay for a new centre in its place. One of the key failings of the old centre was that its design made it very inaccessible to many groups in the community. As you can see below, there were stairs from the car park to the reception and people had to go through the sports hall to reach the changing rooms.
