Student Sample Students will initially keep a food diary for one week prior to the start of the nutrition unit. Following that, the nutrition unit will begin and students will be taught about nutrition and do independent research for their essay/presentation. The student will then complete a second food diary towards the conclusion of the nutrition unit. Students will be expected to make connections between what they eat and how they feel and put this into a presentation.
