John 17:23 The Indwelling of Christ Provides the Church a Perfect Unity.

Doctrine of the Indwelling of the Jesus Christ D. The relationship between the indwelling of Christ and the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. 2 Cor 3:14 ‑ 18

2 Cor 3:18 6. “From glory” is Jesus Christ, the Shekinah Glory, becoming true humanity and residing in the prototype GPS during His entire incarnation.

7. “To glory” is the believer residing in the operational GPS attaining spiritual adulthood and glorifying the Lord.

8. “As from the Spirit of the Lord.” The indwelling Holy Spirit which makes room for the indwelling Shekinah Glory, plus the two functions of the Spirit’s enabling power inside GPS:

a. The Filling of the Holy Spirit, Eph 5:18. b. The teaching ministry of the Holy Spirit, John 14:26.

E. The Indwelling of Christ is not the same as having Occupation with Christ (O. w/ C.), as a Problem Solving Device (PSD) on the FLOT line of the soul.

1. Occupation with Christ is the experience of having the 11 th PSD deployed on the FLOT line of the soul.

It means Christ is formed in your soul, Gal 4:19; or Christ being at home in your hearts, Eph 3:17, the experience of the mature believer who has executed the Plan of God.

2. The indwelling is related to the body, a position, not an experience. Occupation is an experience.

The indwelling of the Holy Spirit is positional. His filling is experiential. The indwelling of Jesus Christ is positional. Occupation with Christ is experiential.

3. All believers are indwelt with the Holy Spirit, yet only believers using the spiritual skills are filled with the Spirit, which is mandated by God.

Likewise, all believers are indwelt by the Shekinah Glory but only believers utilizing the spiritual skills to grow to spiritual maturity are O. w/ Christ.

4. On the one hand, the indwelling of Christ belongs to all believers at the moment of faith in Christ and remains a permanent possession regardless of spiritual status quo or lack of it.

It guarantees we have the Divine blessing of our Portfolio of Invisible Assets, and that our escrow blessings are irrevocable.

5. On the other hand, O. w/ C. relates to the soul and occurs experientially for the few who are persistent in the use of the three spiritual skills:

The filling of the Holy Spirit, Bible doctrine circulating in the stream of consciousness, The formation of PSDs on the FLOT line of the soul.

6. The experiential factors related to O. w/ C. are as follows:

a. Cognition of the indwelling of Christ contributes to number one priority being given to the three spiritual skills as the means of O. w/ C.

It includes understanding the precedence for the Christian way of life, and becomes motivation for perseverance in the use of the spiritual skills when under pressure.

b. The experience of Christ formed in you, Gal 4:19, is equivalent to the experience of Christ formed in your hearts through Bible doctrine, Eph 3:17.
