 Reading/Writing/Grammar – integrated  Students will be taught to read closely in an effort to build comprehension and to promote evidential writing  Read like a detective; write like a reporter  STAR Reading, Accelerated Reader, Successmaker Reading, Benchmark tests, teacher made assessments  Master grade level writing and speaking Mrs. Basel, Mrs. Costa, Mrs. Martin, Ms. Mercer, Mrs. Hrouda, Mrs. Stuart
