Presentation transcript:

Using the wind to create electricity is great. By using windmills to create wind power is great because we are helping the Earth and the O-zone layer. Wind power is actually a sort of solar power because the heat from the sun heats up around the whole Earth and the Earth’s radiation heats every part of the Earth. It even heats up the Earths warms and cools and makes wind and more electricity is made.

Wind turbines are made up of 15 things such as: blades, rotor, pitch, brake, slow- speed shaft, gearbox, generator, anemometer, wind vane, nacelle, high-speed shaft, yaw drive, yaw motor and tower.

Wind power is very loud but it helps to make electricity. The windmills what make wind power are ran by big generators. The generators make the electricity for the people in homes.
