W HAT IS THE R OLE OF THE D IVISION OF L IBRARY D EVELOPMENT AND S ERVICES ? The Division of Library Development and Services (DLDS) is the state library agency in Maryland. DLDS administers federal and state funds to support Maryland libraries in their mission to offer outstanding resources, programs and excellent customer service. The two branches of DLDS include: Public Library and State Networking Branch Library for the Blind and Physically Handicapped

S TEPHANIE S HAUCK Fall 2010 was the first cohort under the revised program. Spring 2011, the second cohort began. An evaluation of the program is scheduled for June 20. Summer Reading 2010 numbers continue around 150,000 Youth coordinators gathered on April 13 to network All counties will participate this summer.
