2 Human Services & Recreation Department Mission Statement The Human Services and Recreation Department is responsible for:  human services, recreation, neighborhood linkages and related activities The Department is committed to:  building and maintaining partnerships to protect, promote and restore the personal welfare and well- being of residents and neighborhoods, especially those with limited resources Fiestas Patrias Celebration
