HEMP PAPER

PRODUCT DEFINITION Hemp paper is writing paper that is part hemp fiber and part post consumer products. The paper comes in a variety of forms great for packaging use or for writing.

COMPETITION Our competitors mainly sell their product through websites and as a result demand a higher price for their product. This is a weakness we want to take advantage of. By selling our product through business stores we eliminated the need for our product to be shipped to our consumer like our competitors. This makes the product available at a cheap price.

COMMUNICATION STRATEGIES This product follows the current green trend that is popular in business today. Our target demographic would be young people in their mid-twenties.

PACKAGING AND FULFILLMENT For our products packaging we will use a thicker paper that we make ourselves as we not only make writing paper but we also make packing paper. COG'S- The cost of goods is very cheap because the material needed is very cheap to grow.

LAUNCH STRATEGIES: The product will be launched in late summer just in time for school.

PUBLIC RELATIONS People love environmentally friendly products. We hope to gain most of our customer base through word of mouth as this shows that your product is worth talking about.

ADVERTISING Strategy & execution- We will advertise our product with other trendy "green" products. T.v ads, displays in stores and ads in flyers are also possibilities.

OTHER PROMOTION Direct marketing- We will use vehicles with our product logo on it so people will be able to get a chance to see our product. Third party marketing: Selling our product at stores such as Wal-mart and Staples is a must.

PRICING We plan to set the price low at approximately 1$ per package of 100. This is a bit more expensive than normal paper but we hope the "green trend" will give us an advantage. People are willing to pay more for products that are not as harmful to the environment.
