Bob Marley was a famous musician who lived in Jamaica and popularized Raggae music worldwide.
Bob Marley was born on February 6, 1945 in St. Ann Parish, Jamaica By age 5 his family moved to Kingston in the 1950’s His best friend was O’Riley Livingston Marley and Livingston both found inspiration in music
O’Riley and Marley spent a lot of their time writing and playing music O’reily and Marley’s other friend Bunny, both convinced Marley to learn guitar. A local record producer picked up Bob, O’Riley, and Bunny.
He introduced the world to Raggae music He became a very powerful political leader in Jamaica Got inducted into Rock n’ Roll Hall of Fame He was awarded the Medal of Peace.
He believed in himself He had courage Polictical icon and good role model He invested in schools, housing, and food for poor families in Jamaica.
