What are the seven Principles of Design? Pattern Rhythm Movement Unity Balance Emphasis Contrast

What are the three properties of color? Hue, value, and intensity

What is a tint? Add White to a hue

What is a shade? Add black to a hue

What happens when you mix a hue with its complement? You lower the intensity of the hue, making it appear duller

What is a monochromatic color scheme? One color scheme with tints and shades added

What are analogous colors? Colors that sit side by side on the color wheel and have a common hue

What colors are included in a split complement? The combination of one hue plus the hues on each side of its complement
