Project 2 Project 2 What is the location of the project? The parks, picnic areas, leisure corners, playgrounds, nature trails and lookouts in areas in Israel that are there for disabled people, built by the Jewish National Fund are: oThe Harvuit Forest(between Beit Shemesh and Re’em(Masmiya)Junction oThe Shimshit Forest oThe Lake Hula Bird Observatory oBeit Keshet Forest Scenic Route (on the hills of Nazareth) oThe Beit Shemen Forest (the largest park in Israel) oThe Hadassah Picnic Site(between Bar Giora and Nes Harim)

What is the purpose of the project? The purpose of this project is to create an enviroment where people can interact with nature.All people are included,even those with disablitites,mothers with prams and even the blind.

What is the description of the project? The blind can be helped because of the signs identifying the areas in Braille and also the aromatic plants which are placed in certain areas to help them determine the right way to go or to tell them what that feature is.For people in wheelchairs,there are pavements specially built for them and also playground facilaties and picnic areas.Restrooms are also easily accessable for them.

What is the benefit of this project? The benefit of this project is that now all people can enjoy nature at it’s best because the Jewish National Fund have created leisure areas for disabled people, mothers with prams,the elderly and the blind.

Project 8 Project 8 What is the location of the project? The newly built rivers and reservoirs that have just been built by the Jewish National Fund are: oKibbutz Lotan(Lotan) oKibbutz Yahel(Yahel) oKibbutz Ketura(Ketura) oAleh Negev(Ofakim) oTimma Park oBe’er Sheva

What is the purpose of the project? The purpose of this project was to create reservoirs and dams and rivers to supply Israel with water without borrowing from other countries.

What is the description of the project? The Jewish National Fund Have created reservoirs,rivers,lakes and dams to house Israel’s water.a few years ago Israel had to borrow water from other countries but now because of what the Jewish National Fund have done Israel can now get it’s own water.

What is the benefit of this project? The benefit of this project is that now all people living in Israel can support themselves without borrowing water from other countries because of the newly built reservoirs,rivers,lakes and dams built by the Jewish National Fund
