Can geography affect the development of a country?

Settlement and transformation of the land: Europe Through history Europe’s geography has brought together its society and natural surroundings. It was a fertile continent with natural landscape that started to change when humans arrived. Numerous people from Asia and Africa explored European land settlements and brought a wide variety of plants and animals. After the period of glaciation settler came to think the land was generous and gain a sense of attachment to the land and population grew.

Activity: Geography and its effects in Europe 35 minutes Research about the geography and landscapes of a country in Europe of your preference. Then create a PowerPoint presentation explaining the country’s geography and landscape and how they have affected (positive or negative) an aspects such as, history, population, tourism, immigration, wars, etc… Present your findings in front of the group.
