 Initiated at Managing Board Meeting, Paris, 18 th November 2014  To increase members’ support for – Sustainability of the Association – Well-functioning of WAPES – Continuous improvement – More collaboration – Using resources more effectively and efficiently * A member perspective is desired The Purpose & Commencement

Q1: Please consider more/other options for providing support to our organization to meet the increased opportunities and expectation on Wapes. – Germany, Japan, China, Croatia, European Union and the Honorary President Q2: Please consider how we further can improve the added value of membership in WAPES – Korea, Argentine, the Netherlands, Turkey, Hungary and United Kingdom Q3: Please consider what are the necessary steps that can help us move forward? – Congo-Brazzaville, Belgium, France, Mauretania, Mali and ILO 3 Groups, 3 Questions

The tasks of the regional consultants should be handled by experts of the member states/PES One PES in each region to deal with conference organization – To enable members who have not yet contribute to WAPES take more responsibility Group 1, Supporting WAPES

Additional questions on expulsion of some former members – What are the causes of this lack of interest? – What steps should be taken to prevent such expulsions? – What is the aim of WAPES? – How to enable cooperation between member PES? Group 3, Steps Forward

In order to remove such disruptions  responsibilities of Vice-Presidents,  role of the Secretariat, and  role of the consultants undertaking excessive administrative task, should be promoted and enhanced. Group 3, Steps Forward
