Topology meaning Kinds of topology Advantages and disadvantages

Meaning of topology A way to connect computers to each other to form a network. A term used in computer networks to describe how a computer is connected to another computer

KIND OF TOPOLOGY BUS TOPOLOGY STAR TOPOLOGY RING TOPOLOGY

Advantages and disadvantages ADVANTAGES OF BUS TOPOLOGY Topology are widely in the early use of computer networks for the simplest topology compared with other topologies The computer is connected to each other by forming like a line through one single cable.

DISADVANTAGES OF BUS TOPOLOGY Only one computer can transmit data in the form of an electronic signal to all computers in the network The signal being sent by the computer will be sent throughout the network from one end to the other end. If the cable is disconnected then all computer networks disrupted and unbiased communicate with each other.

if one link is broken then only on computers that are on the link. Star topology is not directly connected to each other but through the control center that called HUB. ADVANTAGES OF STAR TOPOLOGY

DISADVANTAGES OF STAR TOPOLOGY HUB-conditions must be kept in good condition, because HUB as a centralized control. Wasteful the cable HUB-conditions must be kept in good condition, because HUB as a centralized control. Wasteful the cable

DISADVANTAGES OF RING TOPOLOGY The signal will be weakened if the travel distance in order to achieve further goals. To overcome the fitted repeater. If one link not function, it can be affecting others link
