2 STAR TOPOLOGY  The star topology connects the computers to a central hub.  The signal travel from one computer to another computer.  A disadvantage in the star topology is that if the central hub does not work it affect all the computers.

3 BUS TOPOLOGY  The bus topology connects the computers into a single row (most of the time a cable).  The signal travel from one end of the connection to another.  An advantage is that is easy to implement and extent and a disadvantage is that is difficult to administer.

4 RING TOPOLOGY  The ring topology connects the computers forming a circle.  The signal travel from one computer and surround the rest of the computers.  A disadvantage is that the computer sends the message to all the computers.
