Year 10 GCSE Media Studies Representation: Music Videos

In This Unit: You will produce three main pieces of work: 1.An essay comparing two (or more) music videos to show the differences in representation of a group. (60 marks) 2.A practical piece of work related to music video -this could be a storyboard, promotional poster, CD packaging, or very simple video. (40 marks) 3.An evaluation of the above, including all planning and research. (20 marks)

Although The Beatles and Bob Dylan made short films to accompany their songs it was Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody in 1975 that began things.
