National Curriculum – Year 4 0 English: Autumn 1: Robin Hood! (Who is the villain? What makes an adventure?) Autumn 2: Science Fiction Spring 1: Dragons! How to train your dragon. Spring 2: Normans Summer 1: Matilda! (Why aren't all children revolting?) Summer 2: The Suitcase Kid. 0 Key skills: articulating ideas and structuring them in writing and speech, Spelling, Punctuation, Grammar, word reading, comprehension, spoken language (listening too!), phonics and handwriting.

National Curriculum – Year 4 0 The Flourishing Curriculum: Autumn: Who were the early lawmakers? (History focus – Crime & Punishment) Spring 1: Where would you choose to build a city? (River Study and City Locations – Human Geography) Spring 2: Why were the Norman castles definitely not bouncy?
