A computer network is a connection of many computers and many devices that are connected by communication channels.

1.-Share Hardware and Software: Computers that are connected to a network can share things like printer,modems,coping machines,etc. They also share software, this helps to avoid high duplication service.

There are 3 main types of networks: LAN: local area network MAN: metropolitan area network WAN: wide area networks

LAN local area network They physically links two or more computers within a geographic limited area like a building.

MAN metropolitan area network It covers a larger geographic areas, Such as cities.

WAN wide area networks They connect larger geographic areas, such as countries.
