Fascist Beliefs and Policies-1 - emphasized - loyalty to the state - obedience to its leader. - obedience to its leader. - promised for “reviving economy, punishing previous leaders, restoring national pride.” - People were pleased to hear their massage and accepted Fascism.

Fascist Beliefs and Policies-2 - was different from any of the previous governmental systems - No clear theories -> preached ideas that benefited the country - accepted an extreme form of nationalism - nation must struggle in order to be safe and strong

Fascist Beliefs and Policies-3 - similar to communism - Both were ruled by dictators, denied individual rights, and both thought the state was supreme - HOWEVER, fascism thought that each class had its place and function

Mussolini Comes to Power in Italy  disappointment over failure to win large territorial gains  rising inflation  unemployment widespread of fascism
