WESTCARE NEVADA COMMUNITY TRIAGE CENTER The CTC offers a medical detoxification program, mental health crisis stabilization that is integrated with other inpatient and outpatient substance abuse treatment programs to insure a comprehensive continuum of care is afford all willing participants. The goal of the Community Triage Center (CTC) has always been to help relieve local healthcare, social service and law enforcement systems that are burdened by an overwhelming number of people suffering from mental health and substance abuse disorders. Services within the CTC are provided by an array of professionals including physicians and advance nurses practitioners, registered nurses, emergency medical technicians, a psychiatrist, a licensed clinical social worker, case managers, and counselors.

WESTCARE NEVADA COMMUNITY TRIAGE CENTER Since their inception, the CTC has provided the community with a safety net for the uninsured, under-insured, indigent and homeless populations in need of behavioral health stabilization, detoxification services, crisis stabilization and assistance with connection to community resources. In 2011, 83 % of the 3,864 patients served were homeless at the time of admission. Once the detoxification process has been safely completed, case managers facilitate linkages and timely entry into continued medical care, addiction treatment, mental health services, supportive housing and/or self-help recovery as indicated by the client’s condition. For the time period July 1, 2010-June 30, % of the patients successfully completed detoxification.
