Conclusion  Although several groups, leaders and countries were understanding of Aum Shinrikyo’s original ideas and beliefs (and money) they didn’t support the group itself, it didn’t take long for them to publicly distance themselves at the first sign of Terrorism.  Japan, Australia, Russia – arrested Aum followers, seized assets, denied religious status NO OFFICIAL SPONSORSHIP NO SYMPATHETIC GOVERNMENTS NO SYMPATHETIC POPULATIONS MOST MEMBERS IMMEDIATELY DISTANCED THEMSELVES AFTER ATTACKS (new Organization- Aleph ).
