GPA’s Made REALLY hard.

Cumulative GPA The Cumulative GPA relies only on data found in the Transcript tab.

A student's GPA (grade point average) in Campus is based upon the GPA Value (defined by the score group) and the GPA Weight (defined on the course). To calculate the GPA, we take the GPA value for each grade level and multiply it by the GPA weight of the course. These are then totalled for all courses (SUM of V*W). This total is then divided by the total of all GPA weights. Trouble-shooting The Cumulative GPA always calculates correctly = 2 Cumulative GPA is based on the grade levels attached to the calendar. On a custom transcript, credit groups can influence what grades count in the GPA.

Cumulative GPA - Bonus Points

GPA Bonus starts with the same basic idea as regular GPA, but adds an additional complication, the GPA Bonus. This additional value is defined in the score group, and acts as a "bump" to the GPA. The Bonus GPA does the regular calculation first, then adds the sum of bonus points multiplied by the GPA weight on the course marked as using Bonus Points. Term GPA The Term GPA relies on posted grading task grades and score group values.

Rolling Cumulative GPA The Cumulative GPA portion is based off of transcript data for all years prior to the current school year.

Custom GPA Custom GPA allows for a Cumulative GPA that only includes certain courses in the GPA. Custom GPA’s can only be seen on the transcript.
