If you do not have internet access at home and require a printed copy, your teacher may print a copy for you.

Laptop Computer Use by Middle School Students

Parent and Student Laptop Agreement . A $50.00 insurance deductible will be charged to the parents for any accidental damage or neglect to the laptop.  The student will not remove the battery from the laptop for any reason.

What happens if I violate the student and parent laptop agreement?

Consequences 1 st Offense – The laptop will be taken from the student. The principal may require a meeting with the student’s parent. The parent must sign that they have been notified of their child’s inappropriate use of the laptop. The principal may return the laptop to the student. 2 nd Offense – The laptop will be taken from the student’s possession for the remainder of the semester. 3 rd Offense – The laptop will be taken from the student’s possession for the remainder of the school year. *The principal has the discretion to permanently confiscate the laptop from the student at any time.

Things to know and keep in mind! No downloading or installing of any software The laptop is for EDUCATIONAL use Leave your laptop charging in your homeroom as directed by your teacher. Login ONLY on the computer assigned to you

Things to know and keep in mind! Do not remove the laptop from its case Don’t walk around with your laptop open Remove your flash drive before changing classes Report any problems to your teacher immediately

Logging Into Your Mini Login Name: Student ID Number Password Birthdate (No zero) Ex. June 15, or Teachers let me know if the year is a 4 digit. I need student name and ID#

How do I get help if there is a problem? Bring your laptop and charger to the media center and place it on the cart. Fill out the laptop request online for help. BE SURE you fill in all the requested information.
