Charlie Mohns

Summary A lawyer becomes a target by a corrupt politician and his NSA goons when he accidentally receives key evidence to a serious politically motivated crime. The OTS is unique and creative in some sense. It is similar to Se7en, with the various shots, the scenes being short & fast paced and confusing the viewer. Here is a link to the OTS:

OTS Narrative The OTS is confusing and the maker of it is throwing various scenes at you of police chase, shots of security cameras, motorways and the pentagon along with other iconic structures found in the state of Washington D.C. All the shots are put together with credits of the actors and the main crew behind the film. It is topped with a soundtrack, in which is very patriotic and heroic which could suggest the what the film may include. Usually most Thriller don’t show the location in which the movie is set in straight away.

Locations In the OTS we see various shots of Washington D.C. This could give us a hint where the film will be set or it is just to confuse us even more, which is very unlikely. An establishing shot of the Pentagon which is located near Washington D.C.

Characters We see no characters in the short OTS of Enemy of the State. We do see one or two shots, in which a person is staring at about 30 security cameras. We don’t know if this is a clue of a character or just an extra featuring in the OTS

Cinematography The film is all about spying, most shots are from CCTV Cameras. In the OTS, there are various scenes but only a few camera angles these shots include Over The Shoulder Shots also known as Appropriate Point of View. Close ups, Establish Shots of Certain Structures and Birds Eye Shots. Birds Eye View.

Appropriate Point of View. Establishing Shot High Angle
