 Problem:  The EE/CprE Dept. Science Center has a group of exhibits but no way to conduct an organized tour.  Solution:  Make the room more automated in such a way that it interacts with the audience.  Organize the room in an interactive manner to ease the flow of the tour.

 Make the room more automated  RFID  Central Computer (Labview)  Commands (audio and/or visual)  Organize the room in an interactive manner  Video Monitors  Lighting  Demos

 Labview (Main program)  Touch Screen  Given commands (visual and/or audio)  RFID Reader & Tag(s)  Lighting  Light Control System  Surround Sound System  Video Distribution  Array of video monitors

 Started Main Program in Labview  Series of many sub-programs  RFID & X-10 controller programs completed  Looked at lighting options  Organized Science Center  More space for larger crowds  Ease of movement around exhibits

 Working Science Center by Spring Break – March 12, 2010  All subsystems working together cohesively  Main Program completed  Lighting selected and installed  Incorporate current exhibits  Use the remainder of the semester for test and analysis of the project
