SPE Safety Guidelines Eric Busch October 6 th, 2014

Corporate Safety – Goals  Assist our SPE businesses in maintaining a safe work environment for all our employees, by providing tools, expertise and other resources to help meet corporate and legal requirements.  Assist all SPE facilities with regulatory compliance, policies and programs.  Training – educate our employees about safe work practices and hazards in the workplace.  Assess – identify and evaluate workplace injuries so we may reduce the risk of future injuries.  Indoor Air Quality – ensure our employees enjoy a healthy work environment.  Ergonomics - help employees avoid injury and address discomfort.

Safety Guidelines  Identify  local employee who is responsible for safety program  Day-to-day contact person  Collect Data (following privacy requirements)  Injuries - Semi-annual basis (following Tokyo’s lead)  Near miss incidents / identified safety concerns  Verify national, regional and local regulatory requirements are met  Requirements document  Regulatory submittals

Production Safety – Goals and Functions  Assist SPE feature and television productions to maintain a safe work environment for all our employees, guests, the public, etc., through the implementation of an effective Injury and Illness Prevention Plan.  Provide health & safety and environmental consulting services and recommendations to our productions.  Evaluate production locations and attend technical scouts / recces.  Serve as a liaison between insurance brokers, underwriters, Risk Management and productions.  Provide on-set safety coverage for high profile stunt and special effects sequences.  Serve on multiple motion picture industry committees to develop industry safety bulletins, training courses and best practices.  Assist productions during regulatory agency inspections and investigations.  Support Labor Relations and Legal Department in litigation and labor union issues.  Working to provide a single point of contact between our productions and all SEHS services.
