Pronouns You see, a pronoun was made to take the place of a noun, ‘Cause saying all those nouns over and over Can really wear you down!

A pronoun is a word that takes the place of a noun. Example: When mom and dad go golfing, they usually rent a golf cart.

Example: The volleyball team was determined, so they won the match. The noun replaced by the pronoun is called the antecedent. Team is the They is the antecedent. pronoun.

Personal pronouns most commonly used: I, me, you, he, him, she, her, it, we, us, they, them
