1.To know Jesus is to love Him  “And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.” 2.To love Him is to obey Him  “If ye love me, keep my commandments.” 3.God desires a relationship with us  “For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.” 4.How to become a son (or daughter) of God  “But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:”

 We inherit our name from our father  “I am come in my Father's name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive.” John 5:43  “But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.” John 14:26

 Jesus is the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost  Jesus is Lord and Christ  Jesus is God and man  There is only One God and His name is Jesus “And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.” Ephesians 3:19

 “And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:” Matthew 25:32  “And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.” Matthew 25:33 GoatsSheep

 “Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:” Matthew 25:34  “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:” John 10:27  “And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.” John 10:28  “My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.” John 10:29  “I and my Father are one.” John 10:30

Did you know that shepherds (especially in Jesus’ day) talk to their sheep? Ever wonder why? (sheep don’t talk back) It serves a very important purpose when the shepherd brings his flock into town for resupply…

If my sheep are all mixed up with a bunch of other shepherd’s sheep, how do I separate them out? I talk to them in “a still, small voice” and they will follow me out of the pen… Because they know my voice! Jesus spoke this parable in John 10

 “I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.” John 10:9  “I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.” John 10:11  “And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.” John 10:16

 Ephesians 4:4-6 and John 10:16  How many:  Bodies?  Spirits?  Hopes?  Lords?  Faiths?  Baptisms?  Gods and Fathers of all?  Folds? Shepherds?  Who is the one Lord, God, Father of all and Shepherd? One Jesus

 Love leads to obedience  “If ye love me, keep my commandments.” John 14:15  “For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.” 1 John 5:3  “…If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” John 8:30-31

 Not just any relationship… “For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.” Romans 8:14 “That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven…” Matthew 5:45

 Is our heavenly Father any different?  No, AND He is much more  And, unlike our earthly fathers, He will never let us down Father Love Provision Instruction & Correction Wisdom Protection Life

 “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?” Jeremiah 17:9 And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. Genesis 6:5 But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart ; and they defile the man. Matthew 15:18 For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness: Mark 7:21-22 WHO CAN KNOW IT? And Jesus, perceiving the thought of their heart… Luke 9:47

Ezekiel 36:27 And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you ; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them an heart of flesh : Ezekiel 11:19 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you : and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh. Ezekiel 36:26

 To be a child of God, we have to be Re-Born  “Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” John 3:3  “Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?” John 3:4  “Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.” John 3:5 …baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Matthew 28:19 What is the NAME? JESUS! And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. Acts 2:4 AND

 “That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.” John 3:6  “Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.” John 3:7  “The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.” John 3:8

 Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ. Acts 2:36  Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do? Acts 2:37  Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.  For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call. Acts 2:39  And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation. Acts 2:40  Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls. Acts 2:41  And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers. Acts 2:42

But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: John 1:12 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. John 1:13
