Acts 8:20 “But Peter said to him, ‘Your money perish with you, because you thought that the gift of God could be purchased with money’!” (gift – laying on of hands to receive the Holy Spirit).

For the Scriptures declare that rivers of living water will flow out from within.’ 39 (When He said ‘living water,’ He was speaking of the Spirit, who would be given to everyone believing in Him. But the Spirit had not yet been given, because Jesus had not yet entered into His glory.)”

14. INDWELLING OF THE HOLY SPIRIT
Let’s compare three passages:
Romans 8:9 “But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His.”
I John 4:15 “Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwells in him, and he in God.”
John 14:20 “At that day you will know that I am in My Father, and you in Me, and I in you.”

In You = In your life or In your body ~ WHICH?
1. The Holy Spirit is IN the Christian (Romans 8:9)
2. God the Father is IN the Christian (I John 4:15)
3. Jesus Christ is IN the Christian (John 14:20)
Question: Why does the Holy Spirit literally dwell in the body of the Christian but the Father and the Son do not? In one’s life ~ Not in his body
