1. Count how many recyclables are in our trash cans. (control group) 2. Try to remember to recycle the little things in our trash cans so the recyclable items in it will decrease. 3.Count the items in our trash cans that can be recycled for the next two days. 4.Make a graph and compare how many recyclable items we disposed from our trash cans and put in our recycling bins.

In my graph it showed how the recyclables in my trash can decreased and increased. On Friday, there were several things in my trash can that could have been recycled. I told my family about my observations and suggested that we should recycle more often. They agreed and the result to that was the decline of the amount of recyclables in my garbage can.

We all want to make the world a better place and in order to make this happen is to work together and begin at home by recycling more often. All big goals start with little steps and together we will make a big difference.
