The Inauguration He was inaugurated on March fifth, 1861 Over 25,000 people traveled to attend the inauguration The city was very crowded People slept in the capital or in the streets His inaugural address was proof his intelligence

Changes He radically changed the southern society He changed the publics opinions on many things It is said that he is one of the most influential men in the world Changed the future of the U.S. forever Led the way to equality in races
