growing up exam/coursework pressure peer pressure trying to find their identity independent - they know more than we do! care about the world can be very passionate What do we know about 13-18s?

n:spire has 20 channels/booklets each channel has 5 programmes Choose 1 programme….

….then the young people choose their challenge from the suggested notions and their own ideas. There is no specific syllabus but lots of ideas. Challenges include practical tasks, academic projects, research, group activities, creative tasks, social involvement and much more!

Each programme/challenge should last 4-6 hours (or hours double challenges!) and can be carried out by an individual or a group The young people decide what they are going to do and plan using photo-copiable planning sheets. The leader is ‘in charge’ in a different way - not planning the programme but facilitating Complete 5 challenges a year, 20 challenges for a Brigader Brooch.

We hope your young people continue to enjoy the holistic programme GB offers! Visit the Go leader zone of the GB website - or contact for further help and ideas Sept 2011
