Slaves Slaves worked all day and night some didn’t even get any sleep! Like Harriet Tubman, born a slave, always a slave. While Harriet was born a slave this lucky girl escaped and helped several others escape too!

Escape! When Harriet escaped the first time she had to learn the trails and all the good restaurant to go to in the underground railroad. But after she knew all of the good places, she got the hang of it and learned new ways to hide from slave hunters.

Ouch! When Harriet was about 15 someone ran away from his owner. But the owner knew so the owner grabbed a brick and threw it. Harriet tried to stop him but when she did the brick hit her on the forehead. After that she was sent home to OldRit, her mom and Ben, her dad. Many people thought she would die but she didn’t. She had a scar where she had been hit she was still the same Harriet, brave and daring.

The War In Harriet was asked to be the Civil War spy for the north, the north. In the were called the Union, and they wanted slavery to end. The south were called the Confederates, and they still wanted slavery.Harriet was not only a spy but a nurse too! In 1865 the war ended the north won!

Dying In the year of 1913 and the age of 92 Harriet Tubman got a case of pneumonia. She knew she would not survive so with her 2 brothers and some good friends at her side she died. Harriet will always be remembered for her love and daring heart and the girl of the underground railroad.

Thank you for watching! Harriet Tubman
