Introduction to the Virginia Workforce Connection (VWC)  Powerful online labor market information tool accessed as a website on the internet  Designed to connect job seekers, students, employers, training providers, veterans, workforce professionals, and others seeking to explore local labor markets in Virginia to helpful and current information  Provides fast access to a complete set of employment tools on one website  VWC created under the Wagner-Peyser Act  Required VEC to establish labor exchange for purpose of matching & referring qualified job seekers to genuine employment opportunities  Internet based software systems used to fulfill this responsibility
