Assists One-Stop Career Centers to improve employability and increase career opportunities available to job seekers with disabilities.

Create systemic change to transform the culture of how One- Stop Career Centers serve customers with disabilities. Increase employment and self-sufficiency for social security beneficiaries and individuals with disabilities; and help individuals understand how earnings may affect their social security benefits and other support programs. Facilitate linkages to the employer community so individuals with disabilities may access programs and services.

Serve as a resource to ensure the availability of comprehensive knowledge on federal, state, local and private programs that impact the ability of persons with disabilities to enter and remain in the workforce. Facilitate universal access to the One-Stop system for persons with disabilities. Provide options and assistance in accessing and navigating the complex provisions under various governmental and non-governmental programs that impact their ability to gain, return to, or retain employment. Serve as a One-Stop Career Center resource on Social Security work incentives and other employment support programs

Inform customers of Protection and Advocacy systems Partner with Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) Agencies Develop linkages and ongoing collaboration with employers and employer organizations Serve as a One-Stop Career Center resource on workforce development issues and policies for jobseekers with disabilities Train or make training available to One-Stop Career Center staff on disability etiquette; facility, communication and program accessibility requirements Know and share knowledge of SSA employment support programs; employer federal and state tax incentives

Facilitate the transition of in or out of school youth with disabilities Conduct outreach to, and coordination with, community service providers working with people with disabilities, local Independent Living Centers and public and private mental health and developmental disability organizations Ensure One-Stop Career Center facilities, services, programs and equipment are accessible to people with disabilities Provide information on assistive technologies
