3. A One-Stop Workforce Center is a location where a wide range of employment, training, and career education program services are available to employers, workers and job seekers at no charge.

4.  One-Stop Workforce Centers leverage public workforce dollars with other state and local funding; business resources and services; and foundation support to provide: ◦ informational services ◦ job search assistance ◦ occupational skills training assistance  Deliver workforce solutions ◦ These services and resources are available to job seekers ◦ Workforce Solutions are also available to local employers

5.  Post job announcements  Identify and refer qualified workers to fill job openings  Provide information about available resources and tax credits  Create On-the-Job Training Programs  Customized Training  Incumbent Worker Training for Layoff Aversion  Provide local Labor Market information

7.  Opportunity Inc. staff will match qualified applicants with approved job openings.  Opportunity Inc. will also assist you in designing a training plan to meet your unique business needs.
