Workgroup Mission The Interface Architecture workgroup enables standards-based methodology, practice, and guidance for the transport, routing and packaging of residential mortgage information. The workgroup defines and develops message exchange patterns for enterprise and trading partner exchange of data and documents for a variety of mortgage banking industry activities.

Workgroup Structure Designed to enable distributed systems communication – use a standards-based methodology – establish a communications practice – provide guidance on a messaging framework Workgroup includes – Previously known Enveloping Workgroup – Previously known eMIT Workgroup (eMortgage Interface Transactions)/eMCIT (eMortgage Closing Interface Transactions)
