City J.J. City is named after J.J Jones, a well known Deaf mime performer.

Motto “I have made the choices that work best for me. I know I cannot please everyone, and that's fine.” --Marlee Matlin This quote shows that even Deaf people set out to achieve happiness for themselves.

Flag This flag represents the Deaf culture and the father of sign William Stokoe. The ‘S’ stands for Stokoe. The sun stands for the impact a Deaf person can make on the world. The pink and black stand for the fact that everybody is different.
