“Going to future” je prihodnjik, vendar ta ozna č uje:  - našo namero v prihodnosti  He’s going to start a new job.  I’m going to sell my car.  - dogodke za katere smo prepri č ani, da se bodo zgodili, ker temeljijo na dokazu, oziroma nam to povedo naše izkušnje  Look at those dark clouds! It’s going to rain.  Look at that car! It’s going to crash.

 TRDILNI STAVEK:  We are going to buy a new house.  pomo ž ni  glagol biti + GOING TO + nedolo č nik  (am, is, are) (1. glagolska oblika)
