It is a fast-moving and exciting industry, spanning a diverse range of design disciplines and dynamic subject areas. Digital Media @ Grays School of Art Digital Media Course Information Staff have served as consultants to the Design Council and government departments, written books on design for industry and have designed products for blue chip companies. There is a strong emphasis on design theory and methods, visualisation and communication, user focused problem solving and the use of digital technologies. The use of integrated projects, is fundamental to the Course, encouraging students to avoid compartmentalised thinking and provides a practical focus and context for the delivery of subjects including interface design & motion graphics, digital video & audio production, animation, 3D computer modelling, special effects, web and computer games design.
