Architectural Forms For the Nomads, shelter was natural caves or portable tents. Fixed settlements caused the design of permanent structures. Rise of villages, required the design of public areas. Architectural Drafting began when people first drew outlines of shelters in the sand or dirt. Structures were built using existing materials. Civilization developed, human needs expanded. Lifestyles and cultures began to develop and change. Most early architecture used Bearing Walls for support.
